YouTube Download Issues – Please Read
What's apparent is that YouTube has recently updated its internal systems and algorithms. As a result, many tools that normally allow video downloading are currently broken or unreliable. This includes some of the systems we rely on to process video submissions from YouTube links.
What This Means for You
If you've submitted a video using a YouTube link, you may notice delays, errors, or complete failure in downloading the video. Unfortunately, this is out of our control at the moment.
Why This Is Happening
YouTube frequently changes its backend to prevent unauthorized downloads. These updates are not publicly documented, so every time they make a major change, it takes time for developers across the web to catch up and adjust their tools. This has caused a widespread outage in video downloading systems.
Our Current Workaround
While we wait for updates and improvements to the tools we use, here are your best options:
- Send the video file directly – If you have the original video on your device, uploading it is the fastest way.
- Use a cloud service – Services like Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer are reliable alternatives for getting your video to us.
